Many of them suffered tremendously and even died for their faith. We felt like we were standing in their shadows as we looked at these precious pages.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>We had a wonderful time of prayer and ministry with <a href=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/20150625_144108-e1469077166559.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-2316 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/20150625_144108-e1469077166559-300x239.jpg\" alt=\"20150625_144108\" width=\"123\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a>Pastor Elijah\u00a0and his\u00a0family that day, and later that night we went into the old Moravian church built in the 1800\u2019s for worship and prayer\u2026we were joining the great cloud of witnesses that had gone on before us.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/kids-in-Tibet-7.16.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-2334 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/kids-in-Tibet-7.16-300x151.jpg\" alt=\"kids in Tibet 7.16\" width=\"197\" height=\"104\" \/><\/a>Before the week ended we were able to visit the<a href=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Jenni-with-Headmistress-e1469077446626.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-2312 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Jenni-with-Headmistress-e1469077446626-216x300.jpg\" alt=\"Jenni with Headmistress\" width=\"123\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a> Moravian school that has almost 1000 students. Since Jenni is a\u00a0teacher in China, this was right up her alley.\u00a0 It was\u00a0a great joy to see how God used her to connect with the Headmistress of the school which led to a powerful\u00a0 time of prayer and ministry.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Leh sits at about 12,000 feet <a href=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Glacier-near-pass.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-2311 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Glacier-near-pass-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"Glacier near pass\" width=\"215\" height=\"124\" \/><\/a>and the surrounding mountains\u00a0are\u00a0beautiful.\u00a0 We were able to take a prayer drive to a mountain pass called Khardung La, and at 18,380 feet we were able to have a great time of prayer from this high place.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Lake-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-2314 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Lake-2-168x300.jpg\" alt=\"Lake 2\" width=\"110\" height=\"191\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>We were also able to take a prayer drive 5 hours to the Indian\/Tibetan border.\u00a0 Pangong Lake is a disputed territory and the Line of Actual Control passes through the lake. The name Pangong is derived from the Tibetan word Banggong Co meaning long, narrow, enchanted lake. <a href=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Lake-1-e1469077586415.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-2313 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Lake-1-e1469077586415-280x300.jpg\" alt=\"Lake 1\" width=\"182\" height=\"194\" srcset=\"https:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Lake-1-e1469077586415-280x300.jpg 280w, https:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Lake-1-e1469077586415-250x266.jpg 250w, https:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Lake-1-e1469077586415.jpg 854w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 182px) 100vw, 182px\" \/><\/a>While one third of the lake is in India, the remaining two thirds is in Tibet that is\u00a0controlled by China.
