{"id":3848,"date":"2019-08-27T22:00:57","date_gmt":"2019-08-27T22:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/?p=3848"},"modified":"2019-08-29T17:52:24","modified_gmt":"2019-08-29T17:52:24","slug":"kashmir-in-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/?p=3848","title":{"rendered":"Kashmir in Crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-3840 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/5riversinternational.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/MAP2-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"205\" height=\"307\">Kashmir has been a very complicated place since the partitioning of India and Pakistan in 1947.&nbsp; Two wars have been fought over this highly contested land with the Kashmiri people caught in the middle.&nbsp; Kashmir had retained a certain amount of sovereignty having its own government and establishing its own laws.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>This has now changed.
